2. On the summary tab (first tab) you enter the players and their jersey number on the left (above for batting and below for pitching).
3. On the summary tab the game schedule is entered across the top.
4. The information entered on the summary tab will be carried to each game tab. The stats on the game tabs will be carried to the summary tab.
5. Enter the stats for each game on the appropriate game tab (in the green boxes). The other boxes (white) will calculate the player stats.
6. For each game on the game tab, you enter the result (win, loss, tie) and the score (enter a space then score... eg 4-3).
7. The results for each game and the stats are totaled on the summary tab. The team record will be calculated on the summary tab.
PLAYER FIELDING POSITION &
BATTING ORDER BOARD
This magnetic board is an easy and effective way to set the team lineup & communicate (inning by inning) to your players.
WHAT YOU NEED
- A magnetic white board (11" x 14")
- Two dozen magnets (3/4" diameter)
- Adhesive dot labels for the magnets
- Hook or cord to attached the board to the dugout
- Red & black Sharpe markers
HOW TO USE
- Set the batting order magnets on the bottom of the board
- Select the player fielding positions by placing these magnets
- While players are in the field, reset the fielding magnets for the next inning
1. On the Calculator tab enter the players on your team in place of the Name1 thru Name12.
2. Select what player will play each position inning. Use the the pull-down selection on the top matrix to choose the player.
3. The bottom matrix will indicate how many position that player has been selected to play for that inning (should be 1 or 0).
4. Reviewing the below matrix will allow you to see if a player is seating multiple innings in a row and how many inning they are in the field (color coded).
5. The Field tab on the spreadsheet will take the information entered on the Calculator tab and turn it into a list of players, inning by inning, on the field. You can print this out to use it as your game guide.
6. The Positions tab is a place you can paste and accumulate history of who played where, when and how much for each game. The idea is that you just paste the information from the Calculator tab to the Positions tab below the previous game. If you copy the area to be pasted and then use the Paste Special Values followed by the Paste Special Format will yield the best results.
Form either preselect player positions for the game (inning by inning) or to record the positions played by each player during the game.
